Security and trust
We know many sellers use Facebook groups and do it well. Esqueje doesn't seek to replace that community, but to offer tools that complement it.

We're not saying groups are bad. Many successful sellers use both channels. Esqueje gives you structure where the group gives you community.
Frequently asked questions
- Is it free to list?
- Yes. Listing is completely free. We only charge a commission when your plant sells. No monthly fees or listing charges.
- How do I receive my money?
- Buyers pay by card via Stripe. Currently, seller payouts are coordinated manually. We're working on automatic release. Coming soon: deposit to your bank account within 3-5 business days after delivery confirmation.
- Can I sell from outside CDMX?
- For now, the marketplace is focused on Mexico City and the metropolitan area. We're evaluating expansion to other cities in the future. If you're in another city, register and we'll let you know when we arrive in your area.
- What if the buyer doesn't pick up or pay?
- The buyer pays at order time via Stripe, so you don't depend on the buyer paying later. If the buyer doesn't pick up in the agreed time, the order is cancelled and your listing is reactivated. Automatic refund system is in development.
- Can I sell cuttings and seeds, or only complete plants?
- You can sell cuttings, seeds, complete plants, kokedamas, terrariums, substrates, and related accessories. Check the listing rules section for the full list.
- How many photos can I upload per listing?
- You can upload up to 5 photos per listing, with a maximum of 5 MB each. We recommend including photos of the whole plant, leaf detail, roots (if applicable), and the pot.
- Is Esqueje already working or is it a project in development?
- Esqueje is in beta. Basic listing and search features are active. Some features like integrated payments, chat, and shipping labels are marked as 'Coming soon'. We're transparent about what works and what we're building.
- What if I have a problem or need help?
- You can write to us at hola@esqueje.mx. We respond within 24 hours. You can also report listings or buyers directly from the platform.
- Can I edit or delete my listing after publishing?
- Yes. From your seller dashboard you can edit the price, description, photos, or pause and delete your listing at any time.
- Is there a listing limit?
- No limit. You can list as many plants as you want, as long as they comply with the listing rules.
